Not strictly technical but it a subject I do like.
Cleaning cars!

How oftern do you clean yours and whats your technique?

My ritual is to first spray it off.
Then a wash using good quality shampoo, 2 bucket method and a lambs wool mit.
Water magnet to dry
Finally a layer of wax.

Yearly it gets a claying and at regular intervals it gets de bugging and the interior cleaning, normally without chemicals or occasionally with some Meguires.

I suffer a bit from OCD
Basically wash weekly, spray rinse, two bucket wash, monthly Auto Glym SRP, currently followed but Megs Gold Class. if in a rush use AG aqua wax every other week. If I have time take the alloys off and clean wax ect them. then do the exhaust (not used brasso yet..),then engiine bay.

Clay bar spring and autum.

And usually go inside just before a bird flies over and dumps a load @#£$&?

Personally I go for AG over Megs. but you can't beat a three stage finish

Come on guys, am I the only one to wash my car. Or just the one prepaired to admit I have a problem

use auto-glym HD wax its £40 for a 100ml tub but its worth it. it makes the paint look deep and rich and you only need to do it once or twice a year. when it gets dirty just a quick wash then leather it off and it looks like you just waxed it.
