cheap option for auxiliary belt tensioner

not sure if this will be of use to anyone, but recently my fan belt tensioner failed on my evo 4, and i was horrified by the cost of a new one, so i decided to find a cheaper option. a 2003 lancer tensioner will fit if you file out the smaller bolt hole and cut down the bottom edge to clear the oil filter housing. it cost £63 home from ebay, loads listed on there.

New genuine ones are the same price if from a trader you know Also, cheaper from USA, but good spot.

i had a dam good hunt about, but cheapest i could find was £130 inc delivery from camskill. where sells genuine evo tensioners that i missed? just so i can kick myself for missing it!

You need to ring for best deals. But thats still a good price!
