Hi All,
A close friend of mine has just discovered that his son is diagnosed with having Cystic Fibrosis...........
Even more unfortunate is that he has now discovered that Ollie has a very rare strand of this disease and is in need of some help with raising cash for his son. Specialist Doctors are now using Ollie to further their knowledge of this very rare case....:sad:
The Vest they need for Ollie is £7k!!! This has to be prescribed from a GP and then money has to be raised by a charity to pay for it... The vest is only available in America!?! Once used the vest is then returned to the charity for other patients to use..:sad:
I did read a long time ago that their was a world record set by the no. of Subaru's in one location at one time.... Not sure if this is true or not??
"If anyone knows exactly how many and where that would be useful" If its true that is??!!
I would like to raise this money for Ollie and the charity to go towards helping other parents in the same sort of predicament.... :angel:
So my question is.....
How many evo's could we get in one place at one time to set a record???
Could we also arrange Dyno runs to help generate extra ££... "I already have a company in mind for this but if their are any other suggestions i am more than willing to listen".
I have some contacts in the media and can make exposure for this nationwide if neeeded.... "as long as we can guarantee a good turn out and a good charity return" Be good to poke the Scooby owners back with and do our bit for charity...
Also Santa Pod is on my doorstep and i have friends who work their, perhaps this could be a venue???
If you could all let me know your thoughts i would really appreciate it.... Plus if anyone has contacts within the MLR and other club forums that would also be very usefull and sincerely appreciated.
