Hey all,

Just been speaking with a ceramic coating company Zircotec Zircotec high performance coatings, ceramic coatings, engine, automotive, motorsport, exhaust manifold and header coatings..

I was asking them about their coatings on tubular manifolds etc.
My main question was whether or not their coatings would help to reduce the likelyhood of cracking since after coating, the surface temperature is massively reduced.

The other positives of this are:

Reduced engine bay temperatures.
Guard against corrosion.
They look great in a choice of colours.
Guarenteed for 3 years unlimited mileage or 1 year for motorsport use.

There is a white evo manifold in the video: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KdsAtU3VzAM&feature=plcp]The Zircotec Ceramic Coating Process showing how our ceramic exhaust coating is applied - YouTube[/ame]

Anyone tried this before or would be interested i do have a quote for getting this done in any colour
It is quite pricey but looks nice, if it would reduce the possibility of cracking i would definately be interested.

Better manifold will be thicker and have better flow.. Surely better than just having a cheap one coated
