castle combe spring action day 27th apr 2013

No track insurance, as the car owes me less than the excess. Just having to break it for spares.

I'm an easy going guy, accidents happen, I would've accepted an apology tbh.

My crash was an accident, no one else was near me and i was pushing it too hard. It was silly of me to go out on track with it in the condition it was, but no one bar myself is hurt so its all good. Apologies to those who I seem to have offended!

Doubt i would have crashed if I was driving an EVO!

We all take the risk going on track, and in general I like to think i'm courteous to other drivers. I let the faster things through, and I try not to cut people up.

It was a good day, I feel for the guy in the clio, wasn't his fault at all.

That's it, if you go out on track then you need to be prepared that something could go wrong as you both know, it can and usually at quarry corner lol

Least nobody was badly hurt

Agreed insurance can be a rip off. I don't use any cos with a 2k excess what would be the point. Like you said dan, if it does happen and your in position to break it then why not

Yeh I did try my best to avoid him, problem was I could only go left, if I went right I would have hit him anyway. The driver of the BMW was a proper ****. Didn't even think it was his fault. Got no apology from him or anything like that.

Me and the mrs are ok, my wrist took the brunt of it, and the missus's left side is aching, which is understandable really!

To put it politely i would still be jumpin on his head now glad u and the mrs are ok jus remember buddy metal can be replaced u live to tell a tale first thing they wuda bn doin was pickin his teeth up lol... Gutted for u hope u get it all sorted buddy

We were stood on the corner when you hit the wall, was a heavy crash.

Do like that yellow evo, least you didn't put that in the tyres best colour too

Yeah EVO III's are awesome! So are the rest of them for that matter, I was never a member of this forum, I was signed up to lancerregister, but I havent been there for a while.

I was driving too damn fast TBH, I managed a 1:28, and consistent 1:29 - 1:30's on the day, that includes all the miss gears (no seats of harnesses, wallowy suspension)

I'm not interested in lap times on an action day, I just timed myself afterwards.

Was it pretty heavy was it? I can hardly even remember, I just remember exiting the car, waving at the crowd, then sparking up a cigarette!

Back end go a bit light did it. Typical there that is and catches so many people out. As the white megane found out the same way
