carbon bonnet! yes or no!

well the people that did see my e6 what you think about a carbon bonnet! i am unsure about it and i dont want to mess up the looks! :hm:

Leave it as it is mate unless you got a custom coulured weave or carbon kevlar bonnet and then your talking mega bucks. Just leave as it is mate. Just free up some more gee gees, and keep her as she is.

From seeing your motor at the weekend (apart from the boot not closing particularly well, but an easy fix) - you have an untouched engine with no history of mapping - a fresh virgin engine which is a right result.

You have some supporting mods already on it. I suggest spend you first investment on an uprated fuel pump, EBC and a map.

Then after you've been enjoying it for a bit and collected the inevitable stone chips then get your carbon.

But tbh mate - your choice. Carbon will look good

I'd consider a carbon bonnet on my V as it would be subtle and not noticed till close up ;-)

My only reason for not doing it is fitment! Seems to be pot luck as to how good they match the lines of the car etc.

Might be a slight excuse to tell myself not to though lol

i might leave it for now and just get the little things that need doing like: body work needs touching up,boot catch,under seal,remap and a good detail... not much! but enough to keep me busy..
