i left my car with a guy at work today as he is really into cleaning cars and detailing the bodywork. after 8 hours of work he called me to pick it up and i was so impressed with the work... it looks so much whiter than before and looks stunning. i dont think the photos do it justice.....:^^:

Wow, it made a hell of a difference buddy!!!

Hopefully it's sunny tomorrow which means that I want to see some pics as the ones he posted up are a little dull and don't do your V any justice at all.

Thanks for the comments Guys, pics really don't do it justice as said above! But the weather was Ideal for the actual work, no sun = nice cool panels.£40? that is a great price, but for that price either you're a really really good friend or they're not too sure of what they're doing/haven't done that many cars/aren't confident in their abilities? If it is by hand then there isn't much damage that can be done, but by machine...... be careful. But great price never the less and if he/she does a good job you're onto a massive winner! Can't recommend the werkstat range enough gents, especially on light colours, Easy to use too. Anyway, I've taken enough of your time, Thanks again and happy motoring! See you at work on Monday Adam

P.S. had a drive of Adam's, lovely machines gents, may treat myself to an Evo X in a few years, the quickest car I've personally driven, puts my old Audi A3 3.2 V6 to shame!!!

Hi Hunty and welcome to the Forum buddy!!!

I hope it was not just to comment on your own work:whistling::D

It might be nice to have a resident detailer that is around to offer advice, who knows, it might get you some more work in the process too;)

If you do go for an Evo at some point in the future, steer clear of the X.

Eeerrrrmmmm :whistling:

Seriously, it was great to read some of the feedback on here after Adam told me people were impressed with it on the forum he uses. So thought I would nip on to say thanks to everyone for their comments.

I'm sure Adam see's enough of me at work but I'll stick my nose in every now and again if Adam lets me know if somkeone needs advice, only been doing this a couple of years now so still learning a lot, but if I don't know the answers I'll ask someone who will!

Didn't know there were any issues with the X, but wasn't too sure why they weere putting an Auto in there, not my cup of tea. But the looks and the speed are great, coupled with not needing a service every 4000miles I must admit I'm keen for the future, drive a V70 D5 at the moment  but its great when you have 2 children under 18 months old.

Thanks for the welcome El!
