i just like to clean mine but its nowhere near the level of the hardly ever used newer cars on here

Mine is a daily driver so its far from mint has stone chips and that but nothing that a bit of paint wont sort out im a great believer in a car is to be used

ill second that mate, car is ment to be used not parked next to a radiator :wtf: i use mine every day, and wash it weekly if not before and then keep on top of it by polishing and waxing it, in between working on it

i try to was mine at least once a week but i do a 5 day week then a 6 day then a 5 and so on and work on cars all day long and sometimes you just cant be arsed to do anything on your own car but was now browsing ebay and have bought this

so when that comes give it another clay bar and try the above out

jonny is the man on cleaning products, ive always used colour magic untill i started hanging around on here lol

Im always open to suggestions hopefully he will see the above showing what i have got and hopefully can give his opinion on them

I would go with a more specific polish or a cleanser like lime prime or AG super resin polish, but first you need to tardis and clay bar the car to give a nice smooth glass like surface to for the polish to work with and take out the swirls, then I use a glaze on my car which is cool silver I use poor boys white diamond to fill the deeper swirls the polish couldnt fill or manage but for your car the poor boys black hole will do the same but this doesnt need doing all the time, so I use chemical guys mirror wet mirror finish as a upkeep product or I will use it on top of the glaze as a wet look base for my wax or sealant.

Just a note: tardis directly on to areas of tar first then, agitate and rinse off then use a lube for the clay....DONT CLAY WITH TARDIS

Then I like to give the car a sealant of EXP-1 from poor boys as this stuff is super shiny and also gives carbon a awesome shine if left for half hour so then buffed off.

Then its wax time I use Do-Do Juice diamond white for light cars but as yours is dark go with blue velvet

the wax can be bought in smaller cheaper pots too

Thanks for the above advice as my paintwork does have swirls it worth running a high speed mop over it with like G3 or G4 compound ?

I would NEVER mop a car mate ! way to harsh for a first attempt or any evo paint as its very soft and can burn very easily so a mop is a NO

Hand polish first with foam applicator, if no luck move to a lake country hand cutting pad, then if still no luck a rotary polisher and a few decent pads mate

Lime prime when used correctly is a great tool buddy .

You can work limeprime over certain areas of the car for a better result on deeper more swirly areas, then the black hole will do even more by "filling" the deeper swirls your elbow grease and lime prime couldn't
