I personally think the answer is going to be No you cant. however the chap who is sorting out my evo 7 insists that with the engine running they will bleed via the bleed nipples. he was having problems with it when i popped in around midday and i havent heard from him so im assuming hes still having problems.

I have heard it can be done that way. Don't quote me on that though.

Put the car up on 2 post ramp with all wheels of the floor.
With car running put into gear, keep it up about 1500rpm.
Keep turning steering left to right until ayc light goes out.
Top up and repeat as necessary.

What kind of problems, no shouldn't matter what it's off of unless the pump is faulty

just cant bleed the rear, i had original pump re-connd but solenoids were snapped off in transit so i brought a newer pump to get the car on the road and while we wait for new solenoids to turn up. thinking about it we can put the solenoids of new pump on to re-cond original pump and try that one if he has no success by the end of today. I believe he has done one before RsvRob.
