Can donkey noise bring up AYC light?

Hi All,
So I have changed my clutch bath to stop the donkey noises and the oil that came out looked quite clean and unburnt but having replaced it I haven't heard any noises and my AYC light has stayed off.

My first question is -can these donkey noises bring on the AYC light as the pump might detect some problem in the clutch system as these noises are happening? As after I heard these noises the light came on.

In case its the pump- Has anyone tried the pump refurb kit from the you tube guy, he quoted 100 euros for the kit and another 140 for the test box? Do I need the test box or can I just put on car and bleed on a 2 pillar lift while doing over 20mph. Turn right-left bleed nipple, turn left -right bleed nipple?

Finally- Is the fluid for the pump Dextron III as the clutch bath?

ive not heard of donkey noises butting the light on before but yes changing the fluid does cure this.

ive not bought the stuff from that guy but have refurbed a pump, not had it on a car to test it yet though. when i do it will be bleed with 4 wheels off the ground like you say and yea i use dextron III some say sp3 though which is different yea

Thanks for that. Well my light came on while driving slowly after I heard those noises, so maybe that was the cause. The faults read pump power o/c which I then hope lead to 82 pump not working (same as 83, so what is the difference?).

I 'dream' is that the noise meant that the clutches were not working smoothly and the pump detected some resistance in the system and then shut down the system by shutting off the power hence fault 12 pump o/circuit.

Often dreams become nightmares but if it is the pump causing the noises and light to come on how do I best go about repair? I have heard that it might be a pressure sensor if so where is best to get one and where is it located, above the pump, any pics available? If it is the pump what is my best bet, is there someone that refurbishes them for a fixed fee? Or an exchange system? Could it be my diff causing the light, I ask this as I notice the previous owner has changed it?
