Buying an Evo 5

Hi folks, first thread so go easy. Ive always been into fords and have had alot of performance fords through the years, i currently have a rear wheel drive sapph cosworth which i love but..... Ive always wanted an evo 5 in white wirh amber indicators as they look the biz. I know a bit about fords but nothing about evos so couls anyone tell me what to look out for when buying one, ive heard horror stories about servicing every 2 miles lol. Any advise would be apprieciated

going done the same route as me, im really in my fords....RS mind. Hense the username. i own a Series 2 ERST and an Evo IV.

i personally would check to make sure the AYC light doesnt stay on and make sure theres no Engine management light on while engine is running. and view the car while its engine is cold, listen for any whines in the diffs while pulling away.

The Evo is a different machine to the Cossie all together, whats your running at???
