Buying advice

Ok looking to maybe get a evo 3 or 4,just wanted to know what are the limits on the engines power wise before i would need a rebuild,also can the stock turbo make over 300bhp on the engine.
Also does anyone know standard 1/4 mile of the evo 3 and 4 (just like spec and figures)
