hi all
i.m new on here and i am looking at buying a evo 8 this weekend!
i am after a bit of advice really,
the car i'm looking at is a 2003 fq300 with 78k on the clock
it has a massive spec and currently runs 419bhp
i really want to no if they are very reliable tuned to this kind of power?
and how strong the diffs are? as i had a evo 6 a few years ago and put 2 rear diffs in that
thanks for your help
brett

Hi and welcome. It all depends on how well the car has been maintained. Check the service history and make sure the work has been done by somebody who knows what they are doing (an evo specialist). Post a link up and I'm sure one of the members on here will know the car :)

That car and spec looks familiar, I think it may have been on my list when I was origionally looking about 2years ago but picked mine up 18 months ago when the prices were a lot higher. Looks a good buy so have you done the deal

Looks good in the pics and good spec. on paper. I'd be asking for all receipts for proof of work and cams etc.

Try to take somebody with you who knows evos :)
