Bought Evo 4

Hi everyone!, I recently sold my subaru and bought a white Evo 4, first thing I have decided to do is get rid of the standard airfilter, so whats your opinions on the best performing/sounding air filter for an Evo?

I am sure that every one will have their own opinion on which one is the best

K&N have a great track record and are scientifically proven number one by an independent trial conducted by Banzai Magazine which included Nismo, TRD, HKS, Apexi, Blitz any many other top names.

The conclusion was that it has a far superior filtration and works better the dirtier it gets

It also comes with a million mile warranty and in some applications you will see an increase of 28 BHP.

That is what my money would be going on.

Cool. I got my evo 4 about 2 months ago. My first evo and its been awesome. Mine already had a lot of mods such as hks exhaust and filter. But I plan to do more. Let me know how yours is going

make sure you get some form of air filter heatshield many owners i've spoke to have mentioned heatsoak in the air filter itself.....which you dont want!

Hi mate I have a HKS mushroom style filter kit. Relocatted battery. It sounds outrageous so I would def recommend hks

Hi and welcome to the club.

HKS and Blitz sound well, even the K & N sounds good. Try and ARC heatshield for your filter (they're good)
