boost controller and dual port bov

see all this is new to me, I just gave my car to paul at rs tuning and he just did me a custom mapon my corsa. but I like the idea of running a manual boost gauge alongside a decent map. I can then switch dependant on driving mood. is this correct?

You can have switchable maps on it anyway via the ecu
