boost controller and dual port bov

Hi all I already have a boost controller fitted to my car can someone tell me if I would benefit from fitting an uprated bov and recommendations on one if needed thanks.

Thanks for reply Simon. From what ive read on here your held in high regard towards mapping, ive recently bought a viii 260 with a boost controller, down pipe and cat back 3" hard pipe and think uprated fuel pump. So im thinking must have been mapped already if I fitted a decat would I need the map tweaking and could you perform this. Thanks

Yes mate, any changes would in theory require a map check but not entirely a remap mate

Was told by xtreme that it probably had but cant be sure. The induction kit had been removed by previous owner so I put in a blitz panel filter and then xtreme changed the boost controller to the higher preset. i thought with the other mods it would need a map to run properly but im new to turbo cars so not sure. original cat is still fitted maybe for mot purposes.

Ok sound can you supply decat as im having probs locating one and when would you be available in the Midlands next?

The guy at xtreme did a boost run and im sure it was 1.6 cheers

Not sure on front pipe I think 2.5/2.75 the cat back it a blitz nur spec 3"

Right ok just trying to find out if the front pipe is the stock 260 one or aftermarket, its hard to say if its been mapped tbh mate just from the boost, what controller is it?

The front pipe on a 260 has a cat doesn't it and mine definitely doesn't.
