Last time I was on track I was with a load of mates in their civics etc. I was pretty worried as some were faster than me in a straight line.

I had little to worry about on track. My car hits every apex like a boss regardless of speed lol!

Fitted a walbro n 3 port n been out with the laptop now so those pesky civics don't stand a chance now lol!

Them civics go well once they are going, I imagine they would struggle getting out the twisties with enough grunt, or traction?

Lack of traction is the biggest problem for them. They could only beat me from a 40 roll. Fwd's biggest downfall is that you can't pin it as soon as you're pointing at the apex like you can in an Evo lol.

I want one of those race suits!

Can't wait to see if we get lots of smirky comments on our "clean" cars then destroy them all :awesome:

Simon wont be used to going round corners with his dodgey dark Brummie days past.

What an awesome day :awesome:

With some great mates, can't wait for the next track day.

Pics to come :sneaky:

I have to agree Dan!! One of the best days of my life and proves how humankind can actually get on.

Dan you and your car a fooooking awesome and thanks for the idea in the first place,we owe you alot.

I also want to thank our chief pit crew technician Simon of Norton Tuning Solutions for his back support vehicle and how he helped virtually everbody changing tyres, map down loads and quality tool lending:)Good on ya Simon.

Well even my old boy has got the bug and I have to say his second session looked pretty good for a 70 year old learner in a nice powered VI

Thanks guys for what I think was an epic day, people have no idea what they missed and how good Blyton really is.

THANKS GUYS...LOVE YA ALL!!!

I also have to say I totally understand why over the road has it's own sprint series now!

I have learned more today about Evo's than I would have ever had in 3 years of pottering about ownership on roads!

The difference between an Evo with tired standard suspension compared to one with sorted suspension and updated ARB'S is night and day!

Thanks Dan for the kick up the ARSE!

Glad you all had a good day.
Who's car did your dad use James ..lol.
Much more fun than polishing them.
Next time use a real race track, Blyton is good for sprinting but for a trackday i think it's a tad narrow and not to demanding.
Book donington next time and see what i mean.
