scoobs are cheaper for a reason. perfect if you maybe want to chill out from crazy performace cars a while like myself. evos can command TOO much attention, gettin approached in garages/spoke to at traffic lights (not good when watching the skyline behind you and waiting on amber)... id say if you want to blend in/chill out/save cash buy the scoob. but be prepared to be part of the middle age crisis squad............

blob eye sti is a cracking car to use every day, my mrs has one and we often go out with the mlr lot and its more than capable of keeping up with them, the blob sti is easy to get 400bhp from all day long for a 03 car onwards so yes they are cheap but they're a excellent bargain if you get the right one, if you get a non dccd one you wont have the cluncking noise they make

After having 2 evo 8's and falling in love with them I was gutted to have to sell up. I was running the evo as an every day car and it cost a fortune. i sold up, bought a golf gti, but it was too slow so i bought a lightly modded sti blob. I'm now in the position where I dont have to run it apart from when it comes out to play and I have considered buyuing another evo but being 100% honest and unbiased, there's really no need. The scoob is no less of a car and the one I've got is cleaner than most of the cars we come across, so not the scabby old knacker people would like to believe of the scoobs. As Craig says, I have no problem keeping up with the evo's when we go out, and none of us hang about.
