who did the diagnostics?

the car sounds like its seriously overfueling so I wouldn't drive it until you find the issue (does the oil dipstick smell of petrol?)

is the car running the standard ecu? been mapped? I take it the lambda was checked during the diagnostic?

Check all the vacum pipes on the inlet manifold. Might have blown the fuel reg pipe or something off.

Where abouts are you located bud? Might be someone nearby who can help. Also, has this just happened recently? Did you change anything before it began happening??

Sounds like it's massively overfueling, which could be a turbo issue. I would take it to someone who knows Evo's. Either a member on here who knows what they are talking about, or an Evo specialist like Jamie@Evotune.

A rough idea of where you are based will help us point you towards someone who knows Evos that can actually look at it and give a proper diagnoses.

When you say all electrics cut out, did it turn off then come back to life instantly with all the dash lights on just like you have just turned the car on? Then they go out 1 by 1 like normal??

Mine was doing that recently, ended up being a bad battery causing it. Also, check the voltage across the battery when the car is idling with a multi-meter, should read 13-14v. That will give you an indication of whether or not your alternator is going.

Evotune is in Co. Duram, not sure how far that is from you??

Get it to Jamie@evotune. He's slap bang in the centre of Durham. I recently had a fuelling issue. Spent loads of time taking it to garages, no one could find the fault. He fixed it in a day.
