well as a mate of mine has just bought a new car and signed up to the appropriate forum he was invited to a show and asked if id like to go with him. well not being one to turn down a day out we were off bright and early this morning. now i must say i was a little out my comfort zone but that said it wasnt a bad day... be glad to jump back in the evo though

heres my mates car, ltd edition trophy 1 of 500 but actually number 501 with covering letter from renault themselves explain how a couple extra were made.

this was unusual, and best car ok van of the day ! as seen at santa pod where it ran 12.6 at 105mph :shock::shock: and it has a kill list in the back

It's difficult sometimes, but I personally try to not be "snobbish" or "superior" about owning an evo. In between some "better" cars I once owned a Civic Type-R. Even though it wasn't as good a car as those that came before or after I still acknowledge that it was really a *fantastic* car in its own right.

It's like a religion for me... I worship at the altar of the performance car

Yep I too respect all performance cars just I have a bit of a thing about French cars. I'm just not keen on them but I did quite like the pearl red phase 1 R5 gt turbo. I would own that and my mates megane sport is fun to drive, shame there French lol

The Renault extra van was car of the day really for us, just so stealth like

Yea the stand was but of a disappointment though. No flags banners etc and no one arranging cars to which most were just blocked in with people left to wait for others to return to let them out.

Just a bit supprised as its quite a large club with best part of 80-90 cars there.

Yea was alot of good clean cars their but just a little disappointed with the lack of club staff. We weren't even sure we parked in the right place. Getting out was a nightmare for some.

Good day though, and was a nice change to either jap or ford stuff. Good to see the cars I craved as a young driver. Williams Clio R5 turbo 205 gti etc
