Evoscan for logging.
Tactrix Openport 2.0 cable.
AFR logging equipment.

Im just setting out into mapping so still very much to learn, I have a good friend who owns cg remaps and hes going to help out but id like to be able to tweek/read/write myself, thank you for the advice gents ill look into that and report back

Find Merlin's guide to mapping and read it through, good place to start.
I was where you are, I wanted to log and be able to map my X, over a year now of reading/ learning and lots of logging alongside actually getting hold of relevant roms/XML files and comparing and understanding it all....I now almost consider myself a beginner.
