hi peeps how are you all good i hope. i am putting bat in boot how thick would the cable have to be i have got 30mm red is this thick enough as for the lenth it has got to be it will be erthed in the boot with shortest cable as pos. reason for relocation is to have more room in bay so i can get more air in to intake any other ideas along them lines thanks

hi do not know wot you mean about gauge but it is 25mm multie strand it is very flexi cable i have got thanks

Thats probably 4 gauge cable. What is it rated too? 2 gauge or 30mm would be better but many have used the thinner stuff and still ok.
Do fit a fuse by the battery in boot. Rated at 200 should be fine.

30mm is like an inch and a quarter. Surly you could run a house on that and you'll have loads of trouble getting it through the car.

2 gauge will probably be fine.
