banging fq340 evo ix

Folks
At the mo, the evo ix fq340 is banging when i go over any potholes or bumps in the road. Only on the passenger front side (and maybe a bit on the passenger side rear) . Ive got new front shocks (standard bilstein) and new drop links...


I've checked with the best of my very limited ability using my mate's pit but can't see what could be causing it.

all help mucho appreciated

Posted on your other thread but check the top nut may not be tight enough. That will causing knocking.

Have a look mate, nut first and if not like Craig said could be the mount.

Im looking forward to seeing ur evo mate
All good with mine apart from the knock....I can avoid the knock by avoiding any bumps in the road....I know fhe road from home to work inside out now! ..so I can kinda live with it... put some f1 eagles on it last month. Cleaned the car to the point of obsession on Sunday.

That's good mate, haha that does help...has it been knocking long?
F1s are good tyres, made the most of the weather lol. be challenging some of the guys in here with their cleaning obsessions also with blue evo's :whistling:

Its bizarre. ..lots of blue evos owned by nicks!

Been knocking for a couple of weeks...booked in to gt Indigo next week...so fingers crossed its something cheap and easy.

Haha yeah strange that.

Must be driving you mad, no harm in getting indigo to look at they will sort it out. Best cross everything lol.
Top mount causing a horrible clunk, had the top mount work about half a turn lose and it knocked on hard braking and bumps.
