Has anyone got a diagram for the balance shaft timing as mine is out n vibrates the car thanks

Easy way is to put the mark at 12 o'clock position and let it go, if it falls anti-clockwise then line the mark back up and job done.

If it falls clockwise then turn it 360 degrees and line up the marks.

usually you get maths thrown in your face all about degrees ect, i understand clockwise and timing marks lol, and that bolt on the front of the block you remove to put a screwdriver in is not easy to get at

That's the one that used to really rile me up when someone would ask about the Balancer Shaft and get told nothing more than:

Make sure it's not 360 degrees the wrong way round....:shock:

Thanks for all ya help timed it up and cus the idiot I had the car off timed it up wrong its ****ed the bearings in the balance shaft up gutted but local specialised sortin it thanks for all ya info tho

You can buy a delete kit so you remove the balance shafts engine out job though can't be done in situe

Yes, at this stage it will depend on whether or not your Mechanic is thinking of literally inspecting internals such as the Oil Pump.

In which case, deletion would probably be the best way to go.
