balance shaft removal

afternoon all
been speaking with a friend about tuning my evo further and he has recommend removing the balance shaft is this a worth while move ?

Hi,

It is if you are rebuilding the engine, if the engine is fine and the belts have been changed
There is no need.

As billy said, unless the engine is coming out for another reasonthen no its not worth it. Some say it makes the car more responsive and some say it just makes the car noisier. Imo leave it in make sure belt is changed
