hello, at the weekend i was driving, and nearly wrote off my FQ300, but it is still bugging my mind on whoose fault it would have been, things were really close, but no accident happened. ill explain and let you decide.
i left my drive, got a quater of a mile down the road and became stuck behind a mini which was behind a suzuki. the suzuki on the straights was not breaching 45 mph which was frustrating. i followed them both for seven miles. all the overtaking oppertunites along the way were not feasable, as there was oncoming trafffic. so i shollowed my stress and sat back from them. then coming out of a village there was an oppertuni8ty to go for it, i waited a few second tosee what the mini was going to do and decided if he was going to go for it he should have by now, so i checked my mirrors, indicated to overtake, was in third gear, put my foot down and as i was about to pass the mini he decided to go, without indicating. i had to much momentum to brake, he did not see me and was about to to hit my passenger door, i kept my nerve and kept my foot down, all four wheels on the grass, had to go around both of them both. good job it was a wide flat verge! have been in this situation before, but been able to brake in time. the mini driver just did not look! but it made me mad, i really feel that i was been patient, and did nothing wrong. but bet if accident happened it would have been my fault because of the car i am in. Thank for your oppinion
