What does it mean when the AYC won't come off Tarmac setting?

What does it mean when the AYC won't come off Tarmac setting?

It means all three lights are permanently on as your ACD/AYC is knackered, but the previous owner has disconnected the snow and gravel ones to hide the fault.

Thanks. I know about VW's, Civics and Subarus. I know hardly anything about Evo's!

A refurbed ayc pump is about 300-400 quid pop it on and it will cost you £60 at Mitsubishi to have it bled its not the end of the world. They are unfortunately getting to the age where they are failing but some love will bring them back to life, and as long as there are more people out there who give these cars a chance than the people that wouldn't touch it, the evos will be ok
