Hi all had my Evo 6 for over a year and not one light has come on the dash till now.

Ayc code 82
Came on after about 20 minutes of driving, pulled over knocked the car off restarted light was off
Stayed off for the rest of the day

It's come back on now 3 times in a few weeks

Now this is the part I was stuck on
Popped the pump down to have a look checked the main power plug, no power on volt meter?

Even if I leave the plug disconnected and start the car the ayc will come on and go off as normal

I popped the other plug off and gave me a code 72 and 73 and light stayed on the dash, refitted both plugs and light was back to normal again.

So I checked the fuse on the battery even when that was removed the light would still come on and go off as normal?

If anyone could shed a bit of light that would be great.

Have you checked continuity from where the main feed comes from and to the pump to eliminate a broken wire.

Not yet, but with the fuse out the light will come on after driving a few foot and still brings code 82 up.
I can't here the pump buzz when the ignition is on, I'm going to try putting 12v to the pump and see how I get on
