I have a crack in the casing of the diff where the two pipes enter the AYC. Last owner has tightened too tight. Am getting repaired as uprated evo 9 MR diff. Am I right in thinking that the fluid that has leaked is from the pressurised side and so to fill will need MUT or manual process of lifting car etc or will it be simply refill from the plug in the case.
Thanks

Chris
Could you tell me the procedure for changing the casing over. My machinc is a bit concerned about lining parts up? Is it straight forward enough.
Thanks
Hugh

Thanks Chris for the casing. Fitted today, just used the outercasing and all went well, exept when it came to bleeding the system. Started the car, 3rd gear 25 mph turned the wheels to right or left and no fluid comes out of either bleed nipples. Checked fluid level in boot everything fine there increased revs, still no fluid. Will I have to go to Mitsubishi to get a MUT bleed.
By the way there are no lights on the dash.
