Attention!!

Ok just really a warning about a user from MLR,his username is pecka on there and im almost 100% sure hes scammed me with a item i bought from him.
I got the item and the solenoid doesnt work,ive messaged him a number of times and no reply,hes been on line the last 2 days and been messaging others but not me,really wanted to sort this with him but he has left me no choice.
Ive emaild the Mods on that forum to tell them whats going on and hopfuly they will ban him and cancel his registration on there.
So just a heads up to not deal with him.
If anyone would like to comment on him if they have delt with him of know him then please feel free to do so on this thread.

im getting similar sort of things from the mlr, as a seller and a buyer. i had various people interested in buying a block from me which is in need of a rebore and i have been honest about it, they all say they are very interested and have cash waiting and need it asap. pm them back and i get no response. i also pm a bloke who is selling a boost controller, ask for some pictures and i havent heard back from him. all of tem have been online since i pmd them. i find some of the members on there are just rude and un helpfull, if your not paid up, they have no time for you

That's just the way the cookie crumbles over there!!!

My brother has been a paid member for a very long time, he never used to get the time of day from any one. He once replied to a thread where a member was asking what car you drive, he replied by posting that he owns a zero fighter. Later that day, he received over 90 replies from senior members who all claimed that he is a liar and that he can't afford one and that he should wake up etc. Some members claimed that the number 24 car did not exist, some claimed it had been written off a few days after it arrived in the UK, some claimed it had had an engine bay fire THE FACT OF IT WAS THAT THEY WERE ALL FULL OF IT, HOW WOULD THEY HAVE ACCESS TO SUCH INFO IN THE FIRST PLACE??? WHAT A BUNCH OF FULL OF IT WANNABE KNOW IT ALLS THAT CUT AND PASTE ALL DAY LONG!!!

When he posted the pictures on the Forum it immediately became apparent that he did in Fact own one, no fire damage, no cat D..........NO REPLIES FROM ANY OF THE MEMBERS TO SAY "NICE CAR" or "SORRY MATE, I WAS WRONG"...................NOTHING

They soon started sucking up to him, Juniors and Seniors alike. At the last Breakfast meet they had, there were members there that turned up just to see the number 24!!!
Most of them looked like they wanted to puke when they saw a guy, still in his mid 20's with a car that they know they will never have.

Since he posted the pictures several years back, he told me that every one wanted to hear what he had to say on any subject matter.

I told him that it may be the case for YOU but as far I am concerned, some of them are not all there, upstairs

I have never been a member of the MLR, nor would I consider it. MY £35 would be better spent on a Haynes Manual and a packet of chips. They claim that the fee covers itself but I would like them to prove it.

They answer your query with another one, that just shows that SOME of them don't have a clue and just post replies to get their moneys worth

I think you get this everywhere,i dont have a evo but was always looking to get one,still might once ive finished my t5 project.
Im on all 3 volvo forums but will only post on 1 because of people on the other 2 and there replys to threads that wouldnt help anyone out and would probably do more harm than good.
As far as the situation with me goes im hoping it will get sorted,another member on there who knows the chap had been straight up about him to me via pm's so thats helped.

Starting a seller rating system on a forum is always a good thing and will work well and give buyers and sellers peace of mind.

All i can say is thanks for the replys guys and pm's,i know what forum i will be using if i do decided to get a evo.

Ok not much to update on this as the seller hasnt got back to me even though his mate using his account said Nick knows and would sort it out when he gets back from work on sunday................like 2 days ago lol.
So anyway would anyone have a solenoid knocking about?

The thing thats made me laugh the most is not one person on there has posted saying to me this is bad and he should refund me or get me a new solenoid,its almost like there "o well not or never happend to me so shouldnt worry",but if it did it would be a different story lol.

Well hes got till the weekend,really just hoping now.
I dont even think hes got a evo anymore going on his other stuff he tryed to sell.

yueh i have to agree there this site is far better than mlr everyone seems to be up there own asses u ask a genuine question and they just laugh at ya so a big thumbs up for the evo owners forum
