Does the AYC light come on when you have been giving the car some stick, like ABS does when it is used. ?

Is there a down loadable Manual for the 4 so I dont have to ask the questions.

I would wait until the light comes back on before taking it to the garage mate.

Check your AYC level to make sure it is at the right level.

It may be that the system needs a bleed.

Is there a receipt for the service???

What was done exactly???

Took it in to Garage and put a MUT on it and it came up with code 34 ST ithink it was. They said they would look it up and let me know.

I then came on while I was in traffic so they are going to book it in and check out connections and Levels and may change the fluid if necessary.

It has not been driven for some time before I bought it from them, and so they think it has now all settled down and needs a check over. They are doing it over an informal Warranty they gave me.

Garage reckon it is because the wheels have different size tyres front and back 235/ 40 against 235/45s and so this effecting the AYC brains as they turn at slightly different rates.

So got to find some part worn 235/40s and see if that sorts it out.

Update to AYC.
Changed tyres on front and has improved handling and smoothness.
But !!! AYC light still coming on. So back to drawing board.
Seems to happen on same spot on way to work when I am going down a slope on motorwat to a slip road and just coasting and letting the engine slow the car down. ?

Hi Beags,
get the garage to bleed the system. If they cover it in the informal warranty then that is great. If they refuse then get back to me buddy and I will tell you what to do.

Latest update on the AYC light which is showing steering senor on the diagnostic.

The steering alignment was out by 1 degree and so will see if this has corrected it. fingers crossed.
