Arhhhh Help Problem with Evo 6 Seat belts

Hi all , don't know if I'm being dumb or something but I've just recvd my Evo 6 from Japan, car us great except I can't seem to pull the front seat belts,they move like an inch, what am I doing wrong ?

Both sides seem to be , any idea how to release them ?

give them a good pull,if that doesn't work take them out a strip them down and re-grease the spring spindle etc!

Are you on level ground?? Sounds silly but i think theres a ball bearing in there that stops it moving if its not.....worth a try

Yup this is common in a lot of cars foxed me once!
