I'm wanting to import a Evo IX to New Zealand, but I first need to check that they are Euro 4 emissions compliant. Anyone know? apparently you can tell from the V5

Yes, we do have many evo's in New Zealand but the import rules changed at the start of the year. Now all cars need to be Euro 4 emissions, my understanding is that just leaves IX and X. But I need to be sure.

I have a 2005 IX GT here in the UK.

Just looked at my V5C - it doesnt specifically state anywhere its Euro 4 emmissions compliant?

All I have on mine is;

Under exhaust emmissions;

HC (g/km or g/kWh) = 0.080
NOx (g/km or g/kWh) = 0.080

nothing under CO or sound levels for that fact either?

Wikipedia might help
