Anyone know what this pipe could be for?

I was having a look in my engine bay today (Evo 6) and came across this pipe which is t'd in. i dont currently have a boost gauge or boost controller fitted so was wondering what it is for. It doesnt look very good so was thinking of disconnecting and rejoining the 2 original pipes up

The pipe goes through the bulk head and i cant see where it goes after that.

It is the thinner pipe i am referring to (Should it be there?)

The area is off the inlet manifold drivers side looking from windscreen.

Is that t'd into the fuel reg vac pipe on the inlet mani??

Looks to me to be for a boost gauge as thats the usual. No other reason for a vac pipe to be t'd in and go through the headwall. It's probably blocked up inside the cab. Safe to remove and rejoin the original pipes.

I'd look at finding the other end in the cab tho, just for curiosity lol

Yes Rsvbob its t'd into the FRVac on inlet manifold. Yes just what i was thinking. I am fitting a boost gauge at the moment but t'ing into the d/v side. Was just curious if it should be there for anything else. Think i will rejoin the pipe and find where the end goes.........
I thought maybe it went to my turbo timer as my last one had built in boost reading. Had a look but nothing. Ill rejoin and have a look where it ends up

Well thats as a strange one, i removed the carpet and lining from driver footwell and found it tucked in there open ended not even blanked. Never mind re-piped and all good
