Yeah really easy, if your cars fitted with the clifford alarm there will already be an l.e.d in the dash that flashes, two wires (+ and -) operate it with very low voltage.

The window light sticker will be exactly the same so you just splice into the wires for the dash l.e.d to get your power. Hardest bit will be routing the wires behind the dash from where you want to mount it. :)

I didn't know if I could do that way, as its got some wired black box with it...

Looks like it contains resistor(s) so if the light was to be fitted direct to the battery it would give it the right amount of current.

I do away with it and take the power source straight from the dash l.e.d ;)

£95 i was just quoted..:shock::shock::shock::shock: and i can't splice it in with the led, the bloke said it wont work... :confused:

£95!!!!!!:shock: taking the phish isn't he. Did he give you a reason why it wouldn't work as that sounds like BS to me, how else dose he expect it to flash or light up :confused:

i believe so mate, but i did want to fit it without the black box..it must be there for a reason....i have tried to google it!?

Stick the red wire on the postive battery terminal and the black on the negative, see what happens ;)

So from what there saying, it dose work from the led but causes the led to stop as it draws all the current :confused: there must be an another output from the alarm but with out a probe and seeing it I cant help :(
