A boss kit for after market steering wheel on a 4!!
Removed airbag, wheel and this...

As you can see it has tabs that lock onto something. What does it lock onto? Lol

It's a clock spring its what cancels your indicators.

You'll need to wind it round to make sure it's in the middle as it has a ribbon inside, wind it round count the turns then turn it back half as many turns.

It needs to stay on if you want indicators to cancel.

I can't keep it on because the cables out front hit the boss shroud.
The actual boss locks onto the adapters on the coloum still tho.

You'll just have to cancel the indicators yourself. Wouldn't bother me as mine only cancel when they fancy it anyway :razz:

Saying that it doesn't look the same as the last one I fitted, like Si says, just leave it out.

It doesn't look like it has the spinning part in it like what I've done before.

Right it's all sorted now. Found a good guide for fully fitting it all on a 4/5/6
