I have heard very many horror stories and that the general consensus seems to be put some money away each month instead.
But I would be very interested to hear from anyone who has had a good result and is happy with the warranty and which one you have as the only good results I can find are on their own websites.
Rob.

I have only ever heard negative. I want to believe there is a good one and I would sign right up but like all warrenties they wiggle out of all they can

I had warranty when I got my used car from main steeler 2 month in had a knock going over bumps. Was the front shock. I got both shocks replaced no questions. Don't know if it was because I only had the car 2 months or not and done less than 200 miles. Or it could be that my mate was the mechanic inspecting the warranty claim. Only dealings I had with them.

I'd just keep a buffer of funds for repairs. it depends how hard the car is abused how much it is going to break. litchfields do one which is well received for nissans but ultimately if you are only driving it for a 3-4k miles a year, not tracking it and keeping on top of servicing it's a bit of a waste - plus you always have the worry that the breakage is not covered for some obscure T&C reason (that you probably didn't read fully :D )

I had one with a van from a dealer that went bang and needed a rebuild.
They managed to get out of it as there was a couple of services not 100%, they were only out by a few months and still within the mileage but they said they had to be done to the day and with a dealer.
Does anyone use Mitsu dealers for services ??:p
