any ideas how to attach show plates?

Just wondering if anyone has any idea how I could attach my JDM plate over my exsisting one when I am going to a show?

My current plate is stuck on with pads so I can't really use pads to stick the JDM ontop as I nearly rip both off last time.

any other ideas? I thought about using velcro but I don't want to leave velcro on my normal plate.

I just use Velcro on mine

I suppose I can just peel the velco off after the show and attach some new ones on for the next show.

i was thinking of wee plates that slide over the top of your standard plate
then use double sided tape or number plate stickies to attach that to your show plate?

EBay sticky cable clips.
You can attach to back of show plate and clip over existing plate. Or stick to normal plate and slide show plate into them.

I attached Velcro to both plates. Stuck Velcro on the back in same position then just swap to which ever plate as and when you want

Ah I see. Not thought of removing the plate altogether and putting Veloce on the bumper then switch between plates. Looks way better that having Velcro pads on the road plate
And geof, that is a brilliant idea!! Will see if I have spare room at the side of the plate. Got a feeling I've put pads all the way around the edges

The only worry is that someone steals your plates but mines always garaged anyway and let's face it, screwed, taped or Velcro if they want them, they will have them
