Hello Gentlemen (and ladies if there are any here)

I was drawn to your community via a link a picked up on my server, and as a result I did reply to a little post.

http://www.evoowners.co.uk/f7/thanks-invite-o-5104.html

Anyway I thought it best that I introduce myself so as you are aware of who I am and what it is I do, have done, and continue to do for many individual enthusiasts such as yourselves, privateers, race teams, general and performance garages.

My names Steve. some of you EVO owners may already know of me in the community and one or two of you may have actually had an engine tuned by me without even knowing it.. if you dont , then im sure you'll get to know.. as Ive been around (getting old, lol) . I choose to keep a low profile on forums as I dont get as much time to sit down and post, but I let my work, results and customers around the world speak for me and thats generally the way I prefer to attract you all.

Ive been heavily involved in engine calibration engineering, ecu development and dynamometer tuning for over a decade and in the past have worked with Bosch Motronic and Nissan JECs ECUs and other factory OEM ecus including Mitsubishi & Subaru units.

I act as a consultant for many folk, as just from experience I've pretty much dyno tuned and tested with many different ecu systems on not just the 4G63 platform but many many engines over the decade and also tried and tuned with Pretty much ALL of the common turbo chargers and cams that the average Joe will buy from suppliers, and so I KNOW what works and what doesnt within reason and what needs further development or could be improved upon and what even is a waste of time.. For me its fun,a continual learning curve and also a business as I take what I do very VERY seriously and 99.9% of my time I can back it up, and unlike most I can show LIVE recording of the tune with that turbo and system and What it Does. Something which I believe over the years ive tried to be different with and pioneer through the development of my website / blog and the good ol Social Networking - FC Tuning Facebook Group. Its no hidden affair as to what I do and have done for many passionate enthusiasts as myself (as its pretty much public domain in that I try to harness as much evidence of certain particular setups, more so as a reference for me, for future but I figured that others may also be interested in watching. This is when I spawned FC Tuning - which is basically my Brand. FC ??? meaning Fuel Computer Tuning as thats what I specialise in and Im a FIRM believer in using the dyno as THE BEST tool to setup and tune and engine which is something Ive been expert in. I was fortunate to use the very first dyno dynamics dynamometer as It was my friend that use to be the UK and European distributor at the time and the VERY first unit went into a University close to where I work, prior to this excellent product I was using other older dyno technologies and the Race Track to setup engines.

Over the last few years due to a number of close friends in the UK and Abroad driving EVOs ive been working closely with the 4G63 air pump (excuse me when I say say air pump, but as that to me as a design engineer thats is all an engine is) and more recently ive been helping out with some ECU work on the 6G72 which has been interesting (3000GTO). However, you will see from my website that I work with all manor of ECU systems and engines and ive worked not only with the 4G63 but every thing form Micras and Starlets right up to Ferrari V8s and Motorbikes and later at the end of the year Ill be planning to be over in the Caribbean mapping Some Powerboat engines (which should be fun and scary also, lol) Im generally not put of with anything and will do my best to try and help anyone with their tuning solution. Never say never! Where there is a will there is a way

Anyway.. thats a short intro about me. but im sure from my website you'll Get my Drift, as they say. Im also a trader on DriftWorks and Skyline Owners.

My recent project, which is still a work in progress has just been posted on my website.. Its not complete yet as Ive a few extras that im addressing for the customer and also Im just finishing up on a Toyota 2JZ fitted to an S13 Chassis.. that should be good for some serious Torque and tractive effort.

Im sure that if needed i can help you guys out and ive any good associates that work with me closely both here in the UK and abroad. and like I say Im sure you will enjoy watching the 100s and 100s of tunes (just a sample as I cant be asked to film and edit much anymore - basically I dont really have time so I just update it with the more interesting ones a few times a month. Ive started so I kinda have to keep going) but ill hopefully be releasing some more technical stuff soon.

Ill be looking to catch up the main guys here, over the phone preferably as its good to talk, and perhaps Ill be in a more solid position to help many of you here as I do on my Traders Section on SkylineOwners.com and DriftWorks.com.. Im predominantly based in London but the Dyno where I tune are listed on my website (right side under the title FC DYNOs) but I regularly host tuning sessions around the UK, Ireland, Jersey and Europe etc

Looking forward to perhaps meeting a few of the more local folk in and around the London area.

Meanwhile.. Enjoy!!!
