another evo brembo brake tidy up

this is how they looked before i started.

and here's how they looked after i took all the loose lacquer off with the help of a stanley knife blade and then lightly sanded with 800 grade wet and dry.

then dried off and then cleaned with white spirits.

even looked 100% better than before already.

so i firstly sprayed a light first coat on then 15mins later a second coat a bit heavier

did a few coats, about 5 and this is how they now look.

just carnt believe its took me so long to get round to do it.

Like said mate no need to, could of took them off and resprayed them as they do have chips on them but once on and wheels on you don't really notice.

I use my car as a daily drive so in an ideal world I need to spray my calipers black to combat the brake dust and fade. White would look good on a car as rarely used as geofs

I didn't mate just lacquered them. No need to respray. The lacquer brings the colour out.

Use myne every day and I don't think they get that dirty.

Cool cheers mate never knew that. Did you use high temp or just normal.

Damn i just bought new high quality brembo vinyl stickers for £20 aswell :disgusted: (Thought id need to paint them)

least my ''brembo'' will be white again

I did mate. I used hycote very high temperature paint. Just make sure you pick up the one with a clear cap as they also do different colours. I ordered myne of Amazon for just over a fiver a can. But I only used 1 can, and had a bit left at that.
