The previous owner of my evo has put the worst look of 18'' alloys for the evo on to her. Now i have been looking at some original ones from an evo 8 onwards, My evo 4 has the brembo brake upgrade so can i still get 17's on it without issues?
Also been looking at other alloys like from an rx8, i believe the stud pattern is the same 5 x 114.3, but the offset of the rx8 alloys is a 40 offset, will this be an issue?

Basically guys im in need of some help and sugestions

Thanks, Will

evo 8 alloys will go straight on but advise you use evo 4 tyres which are 215/40/17

at the minute i believe the tyres on my 18's are 225/35/18. These dont rub at all and are new, but i hate them lol

Depends on offset and the dish on the alloy. I had 17 alloys with 215/40 x 17 tyres that rubbed when cornering and had 18" alloys with 235/35 x 18 that never rubbed. To be honest i like some of original evo alloys and wish i still had my E5 enkei alloys

Running 18's on a 4 .... Would probably meen its not lowered ....

Altho your setup is 17mm smaller in diameter than 215/40/17
