Alloy Wheels

My evo 4 just runs the standard OZ wheels they came with but these are 16's and 16 inch tyres seem to be rather expencive for some reason. Thinking of upgrading to a set of 17's. Ma car has been lowered a little but dunno by how much or by who, think it could be Tein springs on Gear dampers dunno if they are standard or not though. Anyway thats not the point, i know th estud pattern is 5X114.3 but wha offsets will fit and what's the best width, will 8J fit or be to big? Any info or waht anyone else as runnin on would be good. It'll take me a few weeks to decide what to go for anyway i'm quite picky lol.

sticking 17's on a 4 is a good idea, but you need quite low profile tyres, otherwise they rub when you take a corner anything faster than 20mph.. i think you need 215/40/17.. ill double check tomorrow which ones i got for mine last year
