The Mitsi key is just remote locking not an alarm.
The stick to pole in a hole I'm quite sure is just incase the cobra fob doesn't work and you have to break in.

If you don't start the car straight away then normally just press button again on fob after turning ignition.

The stick isn't normally needed

As lee said, the key fob is only central locking and shouldn't work, as in Japan these cars don't have alarm or imobiliser. And the small stick is for when the cobra fob fails and disarms the imobiliser only

Yes there is a switch on the clutch you can unplug it if you don't like it. I did as when I'm working on the car I don't want to be getting in and out to start it

If you look in the foot well there is a plug on the top of the pedal arm, you can unplug it there
