Air fuel ratio issues when boosting e8

I got an O2 bung off ebay for around £4 then got it welded to the de cat..........

Having similar issues on a e6 might try extending the innovate clamp to see if it makes a difference

it will make a difference Si,

considering most exhaust systems on these imports the standard innovate clamp is shite, even with a decent extension mine still cannot be used to get accurate idle readings.

Sponners this is my issue

E6 @ 1.5 bar, only hitting loads of 200, where i usually see 260/280 on stage 1, had to richen stock map to 9.1 to get around 11.5, I can get the afrs right but the fuel map looks wrong

what airfilter is it running Si? I wouldn't worry to much about the loads your hitting as they can vary wildy but can be corrected by adjusting the maf if you wanted to.

I did a s205 at 2.2bar and it was only around the 290 load.


First things first though and make sure your afr readings are as accurate as poss.

This is what I fitted to mine courtesy of B&Q

when I first had my innovate clamp I wrote to the company asking if it would effect the 'venturi' in any way if I fitted an extension as I wasn't happy with the readings and they actually recommended that I fit an extension..........go figure:wtf:

Just one of those bog standard hks mushroom filters, Ive done stacks of stage 1s and never had to richen up the stock map, something's not right but can't put my finger on it, will try that bq job

Is it the standard pipework from the maf to turbo? try another maf maybe?

Possibly why I'm having to use 9.1s in the fuel map to get the correct afr
