advice needed pls

Hi im new to here ,i need some advice ,im going to have a look a t evo 8 340 and need to know how to check if it is a 340 version ,gave the reg to a dealer you see and it was coming up as a 320 version so could do with checking car myself ,i hear it has a piggy back ecu which is behind glovebox so gunna check tht to make sure it has got the upgrade . Should you get a certificate of the upgrade ,the bloke has told me he hasnt got it ??,can you get a replacement cert ,anyway pointers would be great thanks

On the fq340 seats are half leather and alcantaea. Also on steering column u will have a traffic master button. It should also say where the badge near gear stick is. Mine comes up ae a 320 with ecu upgrade. But like I saus the 340 has traffic master button and half leather/alcantara interior.
