Acd lights code 45??

Hi all. I have the dreaded acd lights comming on solid so I've tried the diagnostics test with a piece of wire going from 1 to 4 and the sequence I seem to be getting is 4 slow flashes and then 5 quick ones so I guess the fault code is 45. Can anyone help with this. Thanks

I've just tried it again now and I'm getting 4 different sequences after eachother so I guess that means 4 fault codes!!!!! If I'm doing everything right the codes are as follows. 82,45,73,72

I would clear the codes by leaving the battery off for a while then check the codes again.

Ok. Just disconnected the battery now. Any idea on how long to leave it before reconnecting? Thanks for your help

to clear fault codes with the ACD unplug the acd ecu for 30 secs and plug back in

code 45 is ABS signal wire.

Hi John. I disconnected the battery like b6lee said and left it for a while then reconnected. I guess this worked as I'm only getting 1 fault code now which is 82.

Code 82 is pump fail I'm afraid

Try Harry hocky Motorsport to see if it can be repaired but I'm afraid more than likely it's going to be knackered.

Try John@evobreakers for a possible replacement.
He is on here so just search him.

ahh right nightmare:cry::cry:
is it ok to drive with the pump knackered as i wont be able to afford a new pump for a few weeks and i wouldnt want to naff anything up.
is it definatley the pump or could it also be the pressure switch

You'll be running with an open diff thats all... just like running an rs setup

youll just loose alot of grip out the corners, when mine went on my VII it would just pour smoke off the rear tyre on the inside of any corner

wont do any damage as it is apart from wearing your rear tyres out lol

lol well thats good to know. thanks for all the info guys. i shall hopefully look into getting the new pump in the next few weeks when funds are ok. only just shelled out for the car so money's tight at the mo:hm:
