We are pleased to now be supplying A1 Technologies H11 Dog Point Tool Steel Head Studs.
Made by A1 Technologies, these studs may appear similar to others on the market, but that is simply not the case. They include an additional feature known as a "dog point". The dog point seats the stud in the block and preloads the fastener for an accurate and repeatable torque sequence.
If you're looking to make big power (proven over 1000+whp) but don't like the idea of lifting your cylinder head and replacing head gaskets frequently these are exactly what you need!
*Reduce cylinder head movement in high boost or high compression engines- optimising cylinder head to block sealing
*Come complete with bolts and washers
*Use a H11 material that has a tensile strength of 260,000 PSI- stronger than 8740 chromoly
*Provisioned with a hex broach on the top of the stud enabling you to install them with the cylinder head on the car.
*High clamping force helps to seal block to cylinder head joint
*Roll Die formed threads
*Special heat treat process includes heating in vacuum sealed furnace and quenched in a nitrogen chamber for precision control
