yea there were 5 evo's from here that turned up, that silver 6 next to me was already there so i parked next to him and had a chat and handed out one of our flyers to him and another guy in a silver 8 as well

It was heaving up there as always

ah speaking of tickets, i was told by a police man that if you leave your car with the engine running and walk away from it then u can get 3 points on ur licence and a fine :shock:

There isn't. You're still leaving the car unattended while the engine is running.

But if its a proper turbo timer the car either won't go into gear or will switch off the car if gear is engaged so no theft. That's just plain silly if you ask me lol

Yeah I agree it defeats the purpose, but the law covering that offence was there long before turbo timers were invented and they won't change the law just to accomadate turbo timers.

At the end of the day it's your car and your choice to leave it running and walk away but as Foxy pointed out and I can confirm that you risk 3 points and a £60 fine for it if your caught!

There is also the added risk of some no brain thieving twat seeing your car running and try to steal it not knowing that if he gets in to it that he wont get it (well aslong as the timer is set properly) and then you have damage to your pride and joy!:sad:
