a bit confused?

hello guys my evo 8 was a bit lumpy specially when the engine becomes warm
specially when idle..but then some guys were saying its about time to change the cams..to be honest if cams were the problem how come i never lost the power on all my gears?..and then the other tuner said that it could be the vacume leak,02 sensor fault or coil pack....who do you think is telling the truth..sorry for this question im just too curious about your opinions on this matter.

have you already got after market cams fitted? if they are high lift (like 272's) they can make it sound lumpy

To be honest for 4 years ..this was the very first time
