hi guy,s my abs light came on earlier today , does this meen i need new brakes ? or pads ? , and if so , how much does it cost to have brakes sorted on an evo8 2004 reg ?

I concur.
The dealer can run a diagnostic for you and I should be no more than £40.
They will then give you the result and a quote for parts and labour.
You will then be in position to get quotes from local garages that do not charge such extortionate rates.
